News: Delhi invites bids to build 11-storey Rs 128 crore DTC headquarters at IP Estate-03-10-2026
The Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) floated a tender last month for an 11-storey headquarters for the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) at IP Estate, officials said on Friday.
The building will replace the existing DTC headquarters, which officials described as structurally outdated and inadequate for the needs of the expanding public transport network. The project is estimated at Rs 128.23 crore and includes two basements, a ground floor and 11 upper floors. It is expected to be completed within two years of the work being awarded.
The complex will cover 26,000 sqm, including 9,681.71 sqm of green space, with parking for over 200 cars and 200 buses. Facilities will include firefighting systems, CCTV, access control and HVAC systems.
DTC signed an agreement with DSIIDC in December 2025 for the construction. Under it, DSIIDC will retain 50 per cent of the building’s commercial usage rights for 30 years.
