News: Noida Sector 152 shop buyers challenge ATS’s revised Sports City layout over commercial plots-03-10-2026
Buyers of ATS Kinghood Drive, a commercial project in Noida’s Sector 152, said on Friday that they have filed objections with the Noida authority against ATS’s revised layout plan for its Sports City project.
They allege that the plan shows commercial activity at nine locations even though the land earmarked for commercial use has already been taken up by Kinghood Drive. Officials said the layout gives 70% of the land to sports facilities, 26% to residential use and 4% to commercial use, and that Kinghood Drive has an approved area of 19,844 sqm.
Prithipal Singh Sikka, president of the ATS Kinghood Drive Shop Allottees Association, said the 4% allowance is fully used by Kinghood Drive, yet the developer has shown commercial development at nine places. Buyers have also objected to the other commercial areas, saying they violate the December 2015 lease agreement between ATS and the authority.
Kinghood Drive will have about 200 shops across three floors. Officials said nearly 60% of the work is complete, though allottees who booked in 2016 have not received possession.
Getamber Anand, chairman and managing director of ATS Infrastructure Ltd, said the allottees’ concerns will be addressed once the objections are officially received. Three developers recently submitted revised Sports City layouts, and the authority is inviting public objections and suggestions.
