News: Gaurs Group acquires 35 acres from ICICI Bank near Yamuna Expressway for about Rs 700 crore-30-08-2026
Gaurs Group has acquired land parcels totalling 35 acres along the Yamuna Expressway from ICICI Bank for about Rs 700 crore, to develop residential projects.
The developer won three parcels in Sector 18 in an auction held by the bank. The largest is a 24-acre plot, where the group intends to launch a project.
The company said the purchase was on an as-is, where-is basis and that it is settling pending dues such as EDC and farmer compensation.
Chairman Manoj Gaur said the group plans to bring 3-4 housing projects to market in Noida and along the Yamuna Expressway by March next year. Sales bookings were Rs 5,500 crore in the last fiscal, and the group expects to match or better that in 2026-27. It has already launched one project on the expressway this fiscal, with a revenue potential of Rs 1,900 crore.
Gaur said demand stays strong in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad because reputed developers have added little new supply. The group also plans a large commercial project in Noida; it now earns around Rs 150 crore a year in rent from commercial assets.
