News: Godrej Properties emerges top bidder for Noida Sector 151 housing plot at Rs 331.75 crore-01-07-2026
Godrej Properties Ltd (GPL) has won a 4.95-acre (20,050 sq m) residential group housing plot in Sector 151, Noida, in an e-auction held by the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA). The company announced the result on July 1. The winning bid was Rs 331.75 crore, according to the e-tendering portal of HDFC Bank.
In a statement, GPL said NOIDA will issue the allotment letter after completing due process. The company plans a group housing project on the land with apartments in a range of configurations, and it estimates the development will bring in revenue of more than Rs 2,000 crore.
The site has access to the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and is close to the Noida International Airport at Jewar. The surrounding area is also set to get educational institutions and healthcare facilities, the company said.
Gaurav Pandey, MD and CEO of Godrej Properties, said the company was pleased to add the project to its Noida portfolio. He noted that demand for its existing developments in the region has been consistent, and that the purchase fits its strategy of deepening its presence in key micro-markets in the National Capital Region and other major Indian cities.
