News: Anant Raj Cloud signs MoU with Submer to set up AI-ready data centres across India-08-02-2026
Anant Raj Limited said on February 8 that its subsidiary Anant Raj Cloud has teamed up with Submer, a full-stack AI infrastructure provider, to build fully operational, AI-ready data centres across India. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The tie-up is meant to speed up deployment of high-density, energy-efficient computing platforms for sovereign and enterprise AI workloads at scale. It will bring liquid-cooling technology from Spain and pair it with Indian infrastructure and operational support. Anant Raj has campuses in Manesar and Panchkula, Haryana, and is moving from traditional colocation and cloud services towards utility-grade AI infrastructure for high-density, GPU-intensive workloads.
The announcement comes as the Union Budget 2026-27 lays a strong base for the AI data centre and semiconductor ecosystem, which is expected to attract more global cloud and AI data centre investment to India.
Amit Sarin, Managing Director of Anant Raj, said the company is proud to lead AI adoption in India, and that working with Submer and InferX will deliver sustainable AI data centre and cloud services quickly while advancing India’s AI sovereignty goals.
Patrick Smets, CEO of Submer, said India is at a pivotal point in its digital transformation. He said combining Submer’s modular data centre infrastructure, liquid cooling and prefabricated MEP systems with Anant Raj’s existing infrastructure, cloud services and campus development capabilities can bring AI compute online fast while cutting environmental impact.
