News: Anant Raj Cloud, Orange Business Sign Haryana Data MoU-07-10-2026
Anant Raj Cloud Singapore Pte. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Anant Raj Ltd, and Orange Business Services Singapore Pte. Ltd have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Haryana government through its Department of Industries and Commerce. It seeks to position Haryana as a destination for global data workloads and strengthen it as a hub for data centres, cloud services and artificial intelligence infrastructure, by hosting overseas data in the state and taking cloud and data-centre services built there to international markets. Gurugram and other emerging locations are drawing data-centre and technology infrastructure investment.
Anant Raj Cloud Singapore will market Ashok Cloud, Anant Raj’s cloud platform, and Haryana-hosted data-centre services worldwide, and work to onboard overseas customers. Orange Business will explore being technology partner for data-centre development and cloud services, including infrastructure for AI workloads and high-performance computing, supplying technology architecture, cloud and AI hardware and expertise, and supporting international go-to-market efforts.
Amit Sarin, managing director, Anant Raj Ltd, said the aim is an ecosystem serving customers beyond India, not just capacity, and he sees a strong opportunity to bring global data workloads to Haryana.
This builds on a June 2026 MoU under the Make in Haryana initiative, in which Anant Raj Ltd committed Rs 25,000 crore to data-centre infrastructure across the state. Group entities have committed to around 307 MW of IT load across Manesar, Panchkula and Rai campuses, with further investment phased by demand, commercial viability and regulatory approvals. Manesar and Panchkula already operate facilities, with expansion underway, and the Rai campus in Sonipat could reach around 200 MW of IT load.
For Haryana, overseas workloads could add to its data-centre ecosystem, as it leans on infrastructure, policy incentives and proximity to major business markets to attract technology-led investment.
