News: PWD Floats Rs 2.8 Crore Trauma Care Tenders in Gurugram-31-08-2026
The Public Works Department (PWD) has floated four tenders for trauma care facilities in Gurugram and Faridabad, officials said.
The upgrades for emergency and surgical services are planned at the Civil Hospital in Sector 10A, BK Civil Hospital in Faridabad, the sub-divisional hospitals (SDHs) in Pataudi and Sohna, and the community health centres (CHCs) in Kheri Kalan, Pali, Kurali and Tigaon. Around Rs 2.8 crore will be spent.
A senior PWD official, requesting anonymity, said the tenders were floated in the last week of August, technical evaluation of bids would be scheduled during September, and the units would be ready six months after contracts are awarded.
The facilities will have HEPA (high-efficiency particulate air)-filtered systems, hermetically sealed doors and laminar airflow. An automated oxygen manifold with flow meters is designed to hold 12 to 16 cylinders at large facilities. Reserve oxygen banks and an alarm system are also planned.
The tenders mention a modular operation theatre but do not list the surgical procedures to be performed.
The Health Department will decide the procedures, doctors and beds according to patient demand and available space.
