News: Hyderabad Gets South India’s First Trump-Branded Towers-11-08-2026
Mumbai-based Tribeca Developers and Hyderabad-based Ira Realty will build a Vaastu-compliant Trump-branded luxury residential project on Golden Mile Road in Kokapet, Hyderabad, the brand’s first in South India. Total investment is around Rs 2,000 crore, land included.
Kalpesh Mehta, founder of Tribeca, which brought the Trump brand to India in 2014, said the apartments had to be Vaastu-compliant and it took about a year to get right: units must be rectangular or square, with master bedrooms in the southwest and kitchens in the southeast. Hyderabad had long been on the radar, he said; earlier launches were in Mumbai, Pune, Gurugram, Noida and Kolkata.
Two 65-storey towers will rise 240 metres, which Tribeca says will make them South India’s tallest residential towers. Mumbai has the tallest Trump tower, at 78 storeys. The 450 apartments, including 16 penthouses, share 22 lakh sq ft of developable area, with a bridge joining the towers, independent views for each home and an all-glass facade, developers told reporters in Hyderabad.
The 3.5- and 4-BHK units run from 3,600 sq ft to 5,800 sq ft, each with a private lift and exclusive lobby, priced Rs 5 crore to Rs 18 crore. Duplexes of around 12,000 sq ft and penthouses of up to 30,000 sq ft are also planned, and about 120 double-height apartments are expected at Rs 8 crore to Rs 10 crore.
RERA registration came around two weeks ago and completion will take five years. Mehta said Tribeca will invest around Rs 1,700 crore to Rs 1,800 crore excluding land valued at around Rs 250 crore at current market rates, and expects sales realisation of Rs 3,500 crore to Rs 4,200 crore. Eight penthouses have sold for around Rs 250 crore, including one comprising eight apartments that a family combined, for Rs 62 crore. He expects 25%-30% of demand from NRIs, mainly in the US.
Asked about India-US relations, Mehta said Trump was in India long before the politics and the company has seen no impact beyond what the product and brand stand for.
Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization, called India one of the world’s most exciting luxury real estate markets. Narsi Reddy, Founder and Managing Director of Ira Realty, said the land was assembled over many years.
Tribeca, the official Trump brand representative in India, is exploring a super-luxury farmhouse and resort in Hyderabad and may consider Chennai. It could launch three to four more Trump-branded projects over three years plus four to six under its own banner. This is the eighth announced in India; four are complete in Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata and Gurugram, and Noida projects are launched. Tribeca has 13 projects covering 14 million square feet and is the world’s largest developer of Trump-branded properties. Ira Realty, founded in 2019, has developed 15 projects in Hyderabad, delivered over 5 million sq ft and has over 20 million sq ft under development.
