News: DLF Sticks to Rs 20,000-Crore Bookings Goal After 94% Slide-04-08-2026
DLF Ltd said on Tuesday it is confident of achieving sales bookings of around Rs 20,000 crore this fiscal, relying on its launch pipeline and unsold inventory in existing projects, although pre-sales fell 94 per cent in the June quarter to Rs 657 crore from Rs 11,425 crore a year ago, PTI reported.
At a webcast with a capital market analyst, Managing Director Ashok Kumar Tyagi said the quarter was weak because no housing project was launched, but the company is "on track" to meet its guidance. The Rs 20,000 crore guidance for 2026-27 was given in May. In 2025-26, bookings fell 5 per cent to Rs 20,143 crore from a record Rs 21,223 crore the previous year.
Over the remaining three quarters, DLF expects to launch projects in Gurugram, Mumbai and Goa with total revenue potential of about Rs 20,000 crore. The company said it expects the required approvals soon.
Tyagi said the focus remains on improving cash flows and embedded margins. DLF is looking at strategic land acquisitions in Delhi-NCR and has invested around Rs 545 crore over the last two quarters in advances to land owners and earnest money for an upcoming land auction. It is also looking to expand in the Mumbai residential market.
The Dahlias
DLF Home Developers Ltd MD Aakash Ohri said around 65 per cent of units in the ultra-luxury ’The Dahlias’ in Gurugram have been sold, and the rest will be sold gradually over three years. The entry ticket size has crossed Rs 100 crore and goes up to Rs 170 crore, with the price above Rs 1 lakh per sq ft. The 17-acre project at DLF Phase 5, with 420 apartments and penthouses, was launched in October 2024, when units started at around Rs 60 crore.
Quarterly numbers
On Monday, DLF reported a 4 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 793.90 crore for the June quarter, against Rs 762.67 crore a year earlier. Total income declined to Rs 1,605.56 crore from Rs 2,980.88 crore. Net cash stood at Rs 15,200 crore at the end of the quarter.
DLF has developed over 185 projects and more than 352 million square feet, and has 275 million sq ft of development potential.
