News: DLF to Keep Growing Housing and Commercial Arms: Rajiv Singh-03-08-2026
DLF will continue to expand both its residential and commercial real estate businesses while watching the overall macroeconomic situation carefully, Chairman Rajiv Singh said on August 3.
Speaking to shareholders at the company’s 61st annual general meeting (AGM), Singh said DLF is placed to capitalise on opportunities arising from the government’s focus on infrastructure, which he said unlocks openings in urbanisation through real estate.
He noted that the company, founded in 1946, is marking 80 years this year, and renewed its pledge to contribute to the goal of Viksit Bharat 2047.
Singh said DLF performed strongly in 2025-26 across its development (housing) and annuity (commercial) businesses, with new sales bookings of Rs 20,143 crore and net profit of Rs 4,408 crore. The annuity portfolio stands at about 50 million sq ft. For the last fiscal, DLF posted a net profit of Rs 4,414.68 crore on total income of Rs 9,816.04 crore.
Both businesses remain focused on growth in their respective areas, he said, expressing confidence in meeting business goals.
Singh also said the Indian economy, under the "visionary leadership" of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has stayed stable through intense global turbulence.
DLF has so far developed more than 185 projects covering over 352 million square feet.
