News: Anant Raj Board Approves Data Centre Arm Demerger-21-07-2026
Anant Raj Ltd will hive off its data centre vertical into a separately listed entity, the Delhi-based real estate firm said on July 21.
The company runs two verticals: real estate, and data centre and cloud services. The latter is currently operated through Anant Raj Ltd and its subsidiary Anant Raj Cloud Pvt Ltd (ARCPL).
A regulatory filing said the board has approved a composite scheme of arrangement involving Anant Raj Ltd, ARCPL (amalgamating company) and Ashok Cloud Pvt Ltd (resultant company), along with their shareholders and creditors. ARCPL will first be amalgamated into Anant Raj Ltd, after which the data centre business will be demerged into Ashok Cloud. Existing Anant Raj shareholders will receive shares in Ashok Cloud.
Explaining the rationale, the company said the data centre business has evolved significantly and is "well poised to chart its own growth path" while still drawing on the parent’s brand and institutional strengths. The scheme would create two listed companies focused on separate verticals.
In 2025-26, Anant Raj’s profit rose to Rs 557.02 crore from Rs 425.82 crore, and total income to Rs 2,579.08 crore from Rs 2,100.28 crore. The developer is present in Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan.
