News: Adani Samsara RWA Lists Water, STP Issues; Developer Denies-19-06-2026
Residents of Adani Samsara in Sector 60 have written to Adani Realty, the Adani Group’s real estate arm, alleging recurring problems with water supply, sewage treatment, waterlogging, structural maintenance and the handover of community assets. The company has denied the allegations.
The letter from the residents’ welfare association (RWA) said over 224 families continue to face infrastructure issues. It cited dependence on tanker water, frequent motor and sensor failures and delay in developing a proposed borewell. Resident Sawan Shaw alleged that sensors in the overhead tanks do not work properly, so water overflows while residents face shortages.
RWA joint secretary Kanika Sood alleged that the sewage treatment plant (STP) was only "partially operational" for nearly 18 months, leading to foul-smelling flushing water and discharge of treated wastewater into open areas nearby. She also alleged that the central lake, marketed as a key feature, has dried up, that its fish and ducks have died and that STP wastewater is used to refill it.
Residents further complained of basement and backyard flooding in heavy rain, seepage, cracks in walls and flooring, and rainwater being pumped onto adjoining roads. Other issues include the lack of an RWA office and of sanitation facilities for support staff, CCTV problems, pending financial reconciliation and delays in handing over engineering drawings and technical records.
Adani Realty is expected to hand over maintenance to the RWA in July, and residents said they will not take charge until the issues are resolved.
The company said infrastructure and essential services, including water supply, sewage treatment, stormwater systems and security, are functioning as intended and regularly maintained. It added that lake restoration is complete, all necessary documents have been shared with the RWA and handover issues are being addressed with residents.
