News: Kela Buys DLF Dahlias Flat for Over Rs 120.71 Crore-15-06-2026
Investor Madhusudan Murlidhar Kela has bought a flat in DLF’s ultra-luxury The Dahlias, Gurugram, for over Rs 120.71 crore, property documents seen by CRE Matrix show, or more than Rs 1.93 lakh per square foot. An email query was sent to DLF and the story will be updated if a response is received; Kela could not be reached for comment.
The apartment is on a higher floor of Tower 1, DLF City Phase 5, Sector 54, Village Wazirabad, Gurugram, Haryana, with a carpet area of approximately 6,233.39 sq ft and five dedicated car parking spaces. It was sold by DLF Limited under an Agreement Deed registered April 15, 2026, at Rs 120.71 crore including applicable taxes and charges. Because it was an allotment agreement executed by the developer, stamp duty was just Rs 100. Payment is in approximately 11 instalments, and possession is expected after the Occupation Certificate (OC), by December 31, 2031.
Kela, who set up MK Ventures in 2018, has over 30 years in capital markets. The Dahlias is among the NCR’s priciest residential launches and has drawn industrialists, promoters and high-net-worth individuals. Gurugram is the country’s fastest-growing high-end market, with Rs 24,120 crore of transactions in homes of Rs 10 crore and above in 2025, per a February India Sotheby’s International Realty and CRE Matrix report.
DLF’s FY26 sales bookings fell 5% to Rs 20,143 crore from a record Rs 21,223 crore, but The Dahlias generated Rs 4,828 crore, with 32 apartments sold in the March quarter. DLF Home Developers Ltd Managing Director Aakash Ohri told investors it was a primary driver of Q4 FY26 sales of around Rs 3,967 crore and helped meet the Rs 20,143 crore guidance despite launch deferrals. NRIs made nearly 15% of sales, and the remaining 40% of inventory could bring around Rs 24,000 crore at current prices, DLF indicated.
Earlier, in February 2025, Shikhar Dhawan, the former India opener, bought a unit for almost Rs 69 crore (Rs 65.61 crore, Rs 68.89 crore with stamp duty). In October 2025, Hindustan Times Real Estate reported that a Delhi-NCR industrialist paid about Rs 380 crore for four apartments of nearly 35,000 sq ft on Golf Course Road, to be joined into one residence, brokers said. Market sources add that investors from Mumbai, Odisha and Ludhiana are interested, expecting price gains.
