News: Underpasses Planned at Dadi Sati, Rao Ranjit Singh Chowk-18-05-2026
The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) will build underpasses at Dadi Sati Chowk and Shaheed Rao Ranjit Singh Chowk in addition to the flyovers already planned there, as part of decongesting the multi-utility corridor linking the Dwarka Expressway with IMT Manesar.
More than 50,000 vehicles pass through the two junctions daily from the Dwarka Expressway, Delhi-Jaipur Highway, Gurugram-Pataudi Road and IMT Manesar. Three-lane flyovers on each side are planned at both chowks.
A Rs 40 crore tender for the Dadi Sati Chowk flyover is scheduled to open next week. The DPR for the other flyover is expected next month. A consultant is surveying feasibility for the underpasses.
Executive engineer Abhinav Verma said both underpasses would carry traffic from the Delhi-Jaipur Highway towards the Gurugram-Pataudi Road. The DPRs are expected in one month.
