News: Signature Global Plans Rs 3,500 Crore Spend-17-05-2026
Signature Global will invest around Rs 3,500 crore this fiscal year on land acquisition in the Gurugram region and on construction, Chairman Pradeep Aggarwal told PTI in an interview, saying the company remains positive on housing demand despite global uncertainties.
About Rs 2,000 crore will go into construction and Rs 1,000-1,500 crore into land during FY27, he said. The company spent around Rs 700 crore on land last fiscal year. It is evaluating many parcels in Gurugram district and adjoining areas and hopes to close a few deals soon.
Aggarwal said the Gurugram market saw a "little bit of softness" in demand in the second half of 2025-26, after a sharp rally in sales and prices during 2022-2024, but he believes it will return to normal this fiscal year. The company is targeting 21 per cent growth in sales bookings to Rs 10,000 crore in 2026-27, backed by its launch pipeline and unsold inventory in under-construction projects.
In 2025-26, bookings fell 20 per cent to Rs 8,250 crore from a record Rs 10,290 crore, which the company had attributed to a softer market environment in Gurugram. It sold 2,114 homes, almost half of the 4,130 units a year earlier. Average realisation rose to Rs 15,250 per sq ft from Rs 12,457 per sq ft in FY25 on higher premium-segment volumes and price increases.
He noted the company has entered commercial real estate in partnership with Bengaluru-based RMZ group as part of diversification. In April, it tied up with Italian lifestyle brand Tonino Lamborghini for a luxury housing project in Gurugram with an investment of nearly Rs 2,900 crore.
Consolidated net profit jumped to Rs 1,094.64 crore last fiscal year from Rs 101.2 crore, and total income rose to Rs 2,778.85 crore from Rs 2,637.99 crore in 2024-25. The company has delivered 17.9 million sq ft since inception.
