News: WeWork India Opens 1,400-Desk Aerocity Centre, 17th in NCR-04-05-2026
WeWork India Management Limited has opened a 1.1 lakh sq ft flexible workspace centre at Aerocity, New Delhi, the company said in a regulatory filing on May 4.
Named WeWork Worldmark 6 and located on the third floor, the centre has over 1,400 desks and is the operator’s 17th in the Delhi-NCR region. It also offers F&B options, technology-enabled meeting systems, administrative support and community programming, the company said.
The company said Aerocity has become a preferred location for multinational corporations and globally integrated businesses because of its proximity to Indira Gandhi International Airport and access to key transit networks.
Arnav S. Gusain, Chief of Supply, WeWork India and CEO, Rivet by WeWork India, said Aerocity is emerging as a strategic node for enterprise-led growth in NCR and that demand is shifting towards high-quality, well-located assets. He said the centre was already seeing strong demand and early traction, and that large enterprises and GCCs are increasingly treating flexible workspace as part of their core real estate strategy. The company, he added, is focused on entering the right micro-markets at the right time.
Since starting in 2017, WeWork India has expanded to eight cities: Chennai, New Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad. As of December 2025 it had 73 operational centres spanning 8.2 million sq ft, with over 1.21 lakh desks.
A report by CBRE India said the flexible workspace sector now has over 500 operators across nearly 2,600 unique centres. Bengaluru is the largest market with 30-32 million sq ft of stock, followed by Delhi-NCR at 21-23 million sq ft.
