News: GMDA Forms Dedicated Teams for Gurugram Road Maintenance-03-05-2026

Dedicated teams have been constituted by the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) for the upkeep of master roads in the city, officials said on Saturday.

The step followed an inspection on Saturday by GMDA CEO PC Meena, who told all executive engineers to form multiple teams for sector roads.

A spokesperson said each team would coordinate through a WhatsApp group, which the CEO would monitor directly.

Meena also ordered removal of silt, construction and demolition (C&D) waste, abandoned curb stones and loose material, and repair of open or damaged slabs. Emphasis is also on clearing wild vegetation and maintaining green belts. He said negligence would not be tolerated.
