News: MCG Commissioner Orders CAQM Targets, Dust Control Push-21-04-2026

Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) commissioner Pradeep Dahiya on Monday directed all departments to meet targets under the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) Annual Action Plan on time and to step up sanitation, road repairs and pollution control.

The review meeting also examined division-wise surface parking to tackle illegal parking, which Dahiya said would ease traffic and curb pollution.

Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) officials said decongestion work with Gurugram Police is underway this quarter at Palam Vihar Chowk, Sector 40/45 Chowk, Sector 4/5 Chowk and the Sector 48/49 road.

Dahiya ordered faster dust control on arterial roads, with regular water sprinkling. More greenery along green belts and central verges was also discussed.
