News: Reliance MET City Launches 100 Acres of Metropolis, Jhajjar-07-02-2026
Reliance MET City, a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited, announced on February 7 the launch of 100 acres of Metropolis by MET City, an integrated mixed-use development at Daryapur in Haryana’s Jhajjar district.
Metropolis is part of a 140-acre master plan that includes residential plots, industrial plots and a future group housing component. Of the 100 acres now launched, 42 acres are residential, including 19.19 acres of plotted development, and about 56.8 acres are industrial.
There are 272 residential plots of 112 to 179 sq yards, priced at Rs 99,000 to Rs 1.10 lakh per sq yard. The project is being developed in two phases and is ready to move, so homebuyers and industrial investors can begin building immediately and use the region’s existing infrastructure, the company said.
Shrivallabh Goyal, CEO and Whole Time Director, said Metropolis is more than a housing project: it is a planned ecosystem where people can live near their workplaces, built as a sustainable community with strong infrastructure and long-term value. He expects it to become a preferred choice for families, investors and businesses.
Model Economic Township Limited is developing the project with its own funds, carrying out all construction and infrastructure work in-house. Residential plots are aimed at families and investors wanting custom homes, while industrial plots let enterprises set up within the smart city.
The site is on MDR 123 in Village Daryapur, near AIIMS Badsa, the upcoming Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor and the proposed BCCI International Cricket Stadium. Reliance MET City is an 8,250-acre integrated smart city and manufacturing hub in Jhajjar.
