News: Ambedkar Chowk Gurugram Flyover: Rs 37 Crore, 18 Months-03-02-2026
The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has finalised the tender for a flyover at Ambedkar Chowk, where master roads from sectors 45, 46, 51 and 51 meet, and will float it by February 15.
The roughly 1 km, two-lane structure towards the Sohna highway will cost about Rs 37 crore and take 18 months, following the National Highways Authority of India pattern. Commuters currently wait 8 to 10 minutes at the signalised junction during peak hours.
Executive engineer Amit Godara said the design is ready, work should begin in three to four months and finish by the end of next year. The road will stay open behind barricades.
A tender for a flyover at Sati Chowk (sector 85-86-89-90) will also be floated by month-end.
