The camp at Malibu Towne will be organised at their maintenance office from 10am to and at Sushant Lok, the property tax data will be corrected at the community centre a same time.
MCG will hold property tax data correction camps at Malibu Towne, Sushant Lok 2 and 3 on Saturday and Sunday.
The corrections will be made on the spot, officials said. Gulshan Saluja, zonal taxation officer said, “We will hold the special camps starting from Saturday where the residents can come and get their property data rectified on the same day. We will soon cover other parts of the city too.”
The MCG officials said that the residents have been demanding to hold these camps so that the errors can be fixed in a timely manner. A survey by a private agency in January last year had found that 5.14 lakh properties come under MCG’s ambit. After the survey was completed, the residents had complained that the new property IDs generated had incorrect details, creating a faulty database of their properties.
The decision was taken after chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar had reviewed the status of the surveyed properties and directed their reverification. MCG also recently generated faulty water bills generated on the basis of property tax data. The civic body then had to set up camps to fix the water bills
