News: MCG sets up four committees for takeover-08-06-2022
Gurgaon: MCG has constituted four committees to oversee the takeover of nine colonies by June 15.
A three-member committee has been constituted for the colonies falling under wards 26 and 29 and another committee has been formed for colonies under wards 30, 31 and 32. The third committee is made to monitor horticulture works in these colonies and the fourth panel has been formed to supervise electrical works in the colonies, which are set to be taken over by the civic body.
A meeting was held between the MCG officials and residents of the nine colonies on May 31, where it was decided that the takeover will be done by June 15 and for that the civic body will form committees to oversee the takeover and handover formalities.
“We have constituted committees for taking over various inventories and service plans of these nine colonies,” said Vivek Gill, superintending engineer, MCG. “We have also received inventories from two of nine colonies. The committee will ensure that the work is done smoothly. We have made two committees separately for electrical and horticulture works in these colonies.”
The committees formed for electrical works will verify the electrical inventory submitted by the developers. It includes streetlights, pumping machinery at boosting stations and transformers. The horticulture works panel will check the parks and green belts inventory in these colonies.
The committee constituted for colonies under wards 26 and 29 include Tushar Yadav, executive engineer, Wasim Akram, assistant engineer, and Rampaal Maan, junior engineer. The committee for wards 30, 31 and 32 has Vishal Garg, executive engineer, Raj Kishan Mongia, assistant engineer, and junior engineers Sachin Sharma and Sandeep Hooda.
