In a letter to the DTCP this week, the society’s RWA alleged that work amounting to Rs 2.4 crore is pending. This also includes repairing security cameras that aren’t functional and malfunctioning boom barriers. The society has 545 flats that were first delivered in 2014. Residents said painting work is incomplete, rain-water harvesting pits are defunct, sewer lines have not been laid and a staircase for fire emergency is yet to be ready. RWA president Anupama Trigunayat said, “While carrying out the handover process with the previous RWA, all the assets were not in working condition. This was despite collecting the maintenance charges in advance for 6 months from us.” A GPL spokesperson could not be reached for comment.
