News: Intensify vigil against farmhouses in Aravalis, says Gurgaon deputy commissioner-31-07-2021
Gurgaon: The deputy commissioner held a meeting with district town planner and police on Friday to intensify vigil in Aravali area in order to check construction of illegal farmhouses on the forest land.During the meeting of Task Force for Enforcement, deputy commissioner Yash Garg said he would review the status of construction in Aravalis on a regular basis.
“I have directed the district town planner, sub divisional magistrates and deputy commissioners of police to ensure there is no unauthorised construction and illegal colonies and the same should be checked at initial stages. There will be special focus on Aravalis, no such activities will be tolerated in the forest area,” he said.
Garg also reviewed the status of demolition drives carried out during the past six months and discussed the focus area for proposed demolition drives.
In the meeting, the members of the task force also presented the status of FIRs registered in connection with illegal and unauthorised construction and challenges being faced by the police and DTCP.
