The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) on Monday imposed a penalty on a contractor for failing to meet quality standards in road carpeting work in Malibu Town, officials said.
MCG officials stated that Deshwal Construction Company, based in Bahadurgarh, was issued a final notice and slapped with a 10 percent penalty amounting to Rs 57.6 lakh for substandard work on a Rs 5.75 crore project.
